    About

Kelly Helfet is a LCSW and Certified Digital Health and Wellness Level 1 Professional who specializes in treating addiction, digital use issues, personality disorders, family and relationship strain, grief and loss issues, anxiety, and depression. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families achieve lasting recovery and empower them to challenge regressive ways of thinking and behaving that impede upon their ability to grow and move forward toward a healthier and more productive life.

Kelly believes that no obstacle is too difficult to overcome, provided there is appropriate support and healthy coping skills being utilized to assist the process.

She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. Before establishing her private practice in 2020, she worked in numerous facilities including community mental health, for-profit, and non-profit organizations. This provided a broad scope of experiences with different populations amongst diverse levels of care. Most recently, Kelly worked at a world-renown behavioral health facility specializing in the treatment of individuals and families struggling with addiction at co-occurring disorders. While in her position as a primary therapist there, she facilitated the grief/loss group and assisted in the development of the digital addiction program which initiated my passion for treating these two areas of difficulty. She believes in treating each person with an individualized approach and will help foster a safe and supportive environment to help you seek a better understanding of yourself. As a result of her individualized approach, Kelly uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, amongst others.

Kelly looks forward to being a part of this journey with you!
